Bothered and Bewildered is a lovely, funny, touching play on the subject of Alzheimer’s and Dementia. It’s a tragic-comedy about memory, loss, secrets and above all, love.
As her daughters struggle to come to terms with her Alzheimer’s, Irene’s past passion for romantic novels blurs with reality when her imaginary friend and favourite author, the world famous Barbara Cartland, gives her advice in how to write her ‘memory book’. A long kept family secret is revealed – a secret that her daughters must never know.
