A Ceremony of Remembrance will be held at the British War Memorial from noon. There will be two designated areas for the general public, persons wishing to attend are requested to arrive by no later than 11.30 hours.
The Governor will lead the service, with a two-minute silence to follow. A saluting gun will signal the end of the two-minute silence and will be followed by the last post. Wreaths will be laid and an inter-denominational service will be held. Medals and decorations may be worn with civilian dress by all those entitled to do so,and medals of deceased Services Personnel may be worn by relatives.
